Erling Haaland’s Idol Is Zlatan
Erling Haaland idolised Sweden legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic while growing up. Haaland has named various footballers as his idol, including the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, among others. However, the name which appears most of the time is that of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
His incredible karate-kick winner against former club Dortmund back in September 2022 shows that he has certainly learnt a thing or two from Zlatan's playbook. Not to mention, he has similar appetite for scoring goals.
While he may overtake Ibrahimovic in terms of individual achievements, he would still be some way of matching Zlatan in terms of enigmatic character, thug attitude, and outspoken interviews, which are just pure entertainment.
It has to be noted that Haaland had the same football agent as Ibrahimovic, Mino Raiola who recently passed away.

The Haaland Man City 23 24 home jersey is said to feature City's traditional sky blue color with thin pinstripes. Subtle dark blue accents are included on the neck tape and badges. Haaland's name and iconic number '9' are rendered in the club's light blue font. An updated version of Nike's signature swoosh is present on the left chest in white. The sleeves are sky blue towards the shoulder, fading to white by the cuff with another Nike swoosh. Overall, the kit's minimal design allows Haaland's name, number and impressive physique to take center stage whenever he pulls on the kit.
